Founded in 2024, FirstPoint is the culmination of Chris Cheney’s 22 years of experience through the sport as a nationally and internationally ranked athlete, 6+ year tenure as a club owner, 13 years as a professional coach in many top fencing clubs around the United States, and 6 years as a professional referee for USA Fencing, the FIE, and the NCAA.
